Our Team

Bob Glasberg

Bob has a rich business history both as a corporate executive and organizational business consultant. In each environment he has been recognized for maximizing the contributions of key executives thus increasing the performance of the companies they lead. His clients are committed to achieving the highest level of professional, personal and financial rewards possible and rely on his mentoring to ensure individual and team success.


Bob started his career with American Express. As SVP of Human Resources he had accountability for leadership development to the corporation’s top tier of senior executives. In 1985 he continued to consult with corporate executives on leadership development. During that time he has been Senior Vice President and Managing Director with four of the worlds largest international executive coaching firms. In 2001 he founded the firm, Executive Coaching & Career Consulting, an organization devoted to offering state-of-the-art executive coaching to C level business leaders.


Bob has established a reputation for being a key advisor and mentor to a wide range of industry leaders. A large segment of Bob’s consulting practice is devoted to mentoring executives in start-up and early stage companies. Bob acquired his BA in psychology from the University of Miami and his M. Ed. in Behavioral Science from Florida Atlantic University. He was nominated in 2006 as one of San Diego’s most influential business leaders.

Steve Heidel, M.D., M.B.A.

Steve has been a psychiatrist for thirty years. He has spent most of that time in the business world, both leading his own company and consulting to others. In 1979 he founded and served as C.E.O. of Integrated Insights, a licensed behavior health plan, an employee assistance program and a management consulting firm. After selling the business in 2003, Dr. Heidel formed Heidel and Associates to continue consulting to organizations. He combines his understanding of people and with his knowledge of business systems to help businesses manage challenging situations. Senior management consultations include assessing skills and fit within an organization, coaching to improve leadership skills, and maximizing team effectiveness. He helped form GHG to focus on start-up and emerging technology companies. He maintains a small private practice, with a special interest in treating executives.

Steve is a graduate of Middlebury College, The University of Rochester School of Medicine, and the Simon Graduate School of Management at the University of Rochester.. After completing his residency training in psychiatry at UCSD, Steve started his career on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at UCSD Medical School, where he is currently a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry.

Don Grayson, Ph D

Don has practiced as a Consulting Psychologist to leaders and their organizations since 1981. From 1981 – 1987 he was a top performer for RHR International Inc. Since 1987 he has maintained an independent consulting practice. He provides the following services to clients: executive coaching, team building, leadership training, psychological assessments, 360-degree feedback processes, organizational studies, and culture change initiatives. Since 1998, Don has been President of PsyPro Corporation, a firm of psychologists that develops computer-generated reports on personality types and profiles for use in the workplace. From 2002 – 2005 he was an Instructor at the California School of Organizational Studies (currently the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management), Alliant International University.

Don is known for establishing a quick rapport with his clients that makes them feel safe “opening up” and getting down to the process of improvement. His sense of humor also makes him a valued member of the team when he is called in to help select new hires, provide coaching to existing employees or to assess and improve team dynamics. Don obtained his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah. He is a licensed psychologist in California.
